How is the content on the screen updated?
Automatically: when you change underlying content in Staymate, the change is also applied to the presentation. Updates require a working internet connection.
What hardware is needed?
You need a display, monitor or television and a compatible way to open the presentation URL in a browser. This could be a smart TV, a computer connected to a monitor, an HDMI player or a compatible hotel TV system.
Can the presentation run on in-room TVs?
Yes, provided the existing hotel TV system supports integrating the presentation URL. Staymate works with alphaport for suitable hardware and hotel TV integrations.
Can guests book offers directly?
QR codes can take guests to the relevant content in the Staymate app. If booking is configured there, guests can continue on their own device.
What content can be included?
For example, offers, weekly programmes, weather, menus, team introductions, webcams and videos. External content such as websites or YouTube videos can also be included, depending on the format and source.
